Dream Chasers

I had to get up at 3am to drive to Glendale after very little sleep.  We arrived at 5am and we were 203rd in line.  It was freezing and the girls in front of us were severely underdressed.  I went through my trunk and grabbed all my spare jackets, sweatshirts and cloth grocery bags.  They were so grateful, a gang of them adopted us and my daughter made some great friends.  Two of them bought us hot chocolates from a Starbucks 0.3 miles away, once Siri directed them.

It's odd to stand in the midst of five hundred middle schoolers who are about as excited as I'd have been to meet Simon LeBon back in 1984 😍😛😗😋  I'm making her dreams come true.  This is major.  Suddenly I'm not tired.  Not one bit.  I'm living vicariously through my angel girl, and I may dream about Simon.  She told me, "Gosh Mom; he must be sooo old now."  To which I replied, "yeah," and then thought, "but still hot." 😉
