My Surfers
My husband always tried to get me as into 300 as he and our son are, but I only like a few key parts. The slow battle with the wolf flashback is one of my favorite scenes because the imagery is stunningly accurate, not that I would know. It's a beautiful Sunday and I'm so appreciative of all I've accomplished this week, even getting to go through photos now. I've successfully avoided all mishaps teaching Sunday School with twelve of the most awesome 3-5 yr-olds, which is pretty challenging. One wants to bonk another with a T-Rex faster than you can believe! I washed and brushed my girl, slathered her in sunblock and now Lexi is off at Girl Scouts' Thinking Day, a pretty packed event at the church where I passed off the $142 cookie money we've raised, and mentally calculated that's just over half our goal. Yikes! We need to step up efforts. Cody went surfing very early, and I uploaded a picture his dad took of Cody waxing his board. They always wanted Lexi and me to go with them at 6am, but we both consistently echoed each other's "Brrr." I'm feeling rested and blessed in the mean time, so we will go later when the water is more hospitable.
