Swimming

I'm ready to dig my own pool.  I got the idea into Ken's head and he began pulling up blogs of people who actually have dug and constructed their own pools.  The project would be enormous, with tons of variables, not the least of which is our dogs would make a muddy mess throughout the process.  We've gotten the idea into our heads and its sticking pretty well :p  It must happen.  This Southern California heat goes from May through much of October, with little let up and much humidity.  I want to go home from work and collapse into the cool wet depths every day!  We will have to have a spa as well for the chilly, romantic stargazing nights <3  I like the look of the stone pool the Nguyen family built in their backyard.  There is even a cave behind a multicolor-changing waterfall and it looks beautiful!  My dreams are evolving still but I dreamt of swimming last night, and today, during my morning run, I thought of how awesome it would be to have a pool and swim laps in this heat every day for exercise.  It has to be just as quick and effective; It's only two and a half miles of the triathalon.  Nicole Kidman has always been a swimmer too, and I believe that's how she stays sleek and graceful.  I bet she has a salt water pool like my in-laws do.  Since swimming in their pool, I realized I am not a big fan of chlorine, so ours will have to be a saltwater pool.  I can hardly wait!  I noticed one of my neighbors is thinking similarly:
