Pulling Weeds
My neighbor is working me out; oh my gosh! I've been yanking weeds as tall as me for an hour. It feels really good to sweat and just focus on a mindless task, though. When my mind starts to run toward those things I want to forget, I just bend, correct my stance accordingly, yank, and shake the dirt off. Every so often I look up and see I've plowed a small field; lol. The rains earlier make this task much easier. And on a side note, this sushi break never felt so good. I realize I've forgotten to eat again, skipping dinner, forcing some breakfast bites that don't really count for much and then salmon sushi - my favorite! Time to get back to work....I'll have to add to this when my overseer lets me off...
Okay; it's later and my back is seriously rebelling now. That was very hard work. I had to reward myself to a trip to Sprouts with my bestie afterward and was especially grateful for heated seats and choice of grocery store. Sprouts has the best foods, products, pet supplies and great sandwiches! I would work there if I wasn't already working two jobs. My real estate business can be quirky, so I took on subbing for my local school district, which offers both great pay and excellent networking opportunities. I can make my own time and usually get a lot of time to look for homes on my ipad, especially when I teach middle and high school because these teachers have "off" periods in addition to lunch time. Plus, unlike my high school teaching days, with subbing, I don't have to grade papers or do any planning when it's time to go home for the day. Bonus! I love real estate knowledge and work, and am even looking toward earning my brokers license this summer. Remember, if you're looking to buy or sell a home in San Diego, I'll be your greatest rep. ~Betty
