Yay!!!
Do you know the feeling of trying on a favorite outfit that you don't expect to fit, but then it slides right on? One look in the mirror and you can't believe your eyes, but it's happened! Why? How? For me, the reading on the scale remained static for weeks, and I was stuck in a monotonous mood of self-depricating defeat, even though I stuck to my personal challenge and worked out every single day without the failure of excuses. I tried on the shorts in a wry sort of way and boy was I surprised! I can't get Pharrell's song out of my head ever since; I'm so happy! I wish everybody would feel this way, so I will share my method with unabashed honesty.
Everyday, I eat whole, nutritious foods, including all-fruit jams and popsicles to combat the sweet cravings. Further, I make sure to hit the gym every single day. To lose weight, I've learned, your best bet is to fight it with daily exercise. Once you're in your happy place, the gym should be a 3-4 times a week routine. I typically do and recommend weight training for about 15 min, followed by 30 minutes of cardio, usually on the low impact arc climber, which I only call low impact because it doesn't take as hard a toll on the body as running on concrete or treadmill does, but the heart rate must be in the fat burning or cardiovascular zone. I also do 12 minutes of Beauty Angel, which includes red light therapy and vibrashape technology. This diminishes scars as well as the dreaded cellulite. Even as I write this, I fear the line will be longer next time I go, but I will still share this crucial knowledge. That's my hour circuit and with the right music in the ears it's really quite fast and fun. I've learned to build up to some pretty *heavy weights, and yet I'm still on the smaller size. I walk and take the stairs as much as possible, while looking for real estate, so I need some extra muscle on the daily hills and dales of life. I personally am happy with the scale reading between 130 and 135, because for me at 5'4" it means healthy and happy. Anything more drastic and I'm moody with hollow cheeks and no rear end- todo no bueno para mi amor ;)

Leg press has 180 lb on the bar -50-60x
Lunges and deadlifts- 40 lb bar 30-40 each
Keep abs engaged for all of the above!!
30 double crunches + 4 sets of twelve bicycle crunches
Tricep dips 20-30x (ps I detest these but they work, and fast!)
Bicep curls with 20 lb bar 20-30x
Leg press has 180 lb on the bar -50-60x
